watched johnny’s countdown to 2005 (does that make it countdown 2004 or 2005? i have no idea ne~ ) twice ne~ playing it now actually. and kat-tun just finished singing ハルカナ約束 yo~ and they’re *gasp* decently dressed ne~ compared to certain other people yo~ *cough* news esp yamap *cough* actually lots of people looked like they boycotted the hairstylist/needed a haircut/hadn’t visited a salon in an age. takkitsuba looked good though. tsubasa’s hair actually looked decent ne~

and his dancing during andalusia yo~~~ kyaaaaa~~~ his dancing skills are sooooo sharp & good he didn’t nearly dance enough though. or not enough camera focus. speaking of which, the cameraman was crazy ne~ it’s enough to make people dizzy ne~

takkitsuba hardly appeared though cos of takki’s nhk judging. the night really belonged to the senpai groups ne~ not that the ning da is complaining, cos there was lots & lots of kinki kids (and not a lot of news ) and they sing well & sound good yo~ and tokio is on crack crack crack

the surprise guests were shounentai which is rather blegh imo their singing is… and those clips from the 70s & 80s uuuuughhhhh~~~ talk about pukeworthy clothes & hair. the song choice was pretty good… once they got past the 70s & 80s. the 80s songs are very, err… 80s? kinki kids singing 夜空ノムコウ the ning da was highly amused by the video of kinki kids singing 硝子の少年 from the 90s.

kanjani8 was on crack as usual ne~ although ryo-chan & uchi were stuck as news most of the time. but can’t be helped ne~ cos tegoshi, shige & kusano are all under-aged (they still turned up though in the audience ) so that would have left… 3 people without ryo-chan & uchi. which is kinda sad.

also watched 2003-2004 starship countdown. mr johnny seemed to have a bigger budget for that one (he had comperes as opposed to kinki kids although kk looked much better than the compere ). they started the countdown too early though so no one was counting at the start. the songs were almost identical though. which is sometimes good and sometimes bad. *cough* 80s songs *cough* the sushi song is cute though~ there’s a lot of news though. and yamap’s berms/knickerbocker thingies are pukeworthy yo~ although looking at the clip of tokio they showed for 2004-2005, i’m glad he didn’t follow nagase-style all the way ne~ there was lots & lots of takkitsuba though.

almost unrelated, but the matsujun has achieved the ms wee’s seal of pretty boy-ness & the en’s stamp of cuteness. and all it took (after random picture spamming ) was ep3 of ごくせん. the power of sawada-kun.

yaaa~~~tta~~~ found my piano book ne~ one year later. ureshii na~ cos it’s got the heart asks pleasure first & my own super-annotated copy of moonlight sonata (which i played so much i can’t stand it now ) and most importantly, a mendelssohn piece mrs vainer gave on the last lesson that i’ve never played. happy yo~
