phew! finished watching, capping & inventing possibilities for 8 eps of 遥かなる. the story is plotless enough for me to understand. and boringly straight yo~~~ there are eight bishounen how can there be no xw fodder?!

nothing much happens in the first ep. it’s really for setting the scene and flashing shots of the bishies. and for the ryuujin to hao lian his powers by creating an earthquake. indigo hair is minamoto no yorihisa aka bodyguard & watchdog. and general anti-social cold fish lacking in social skills. not sure whose bodyguard he originally is though. teal hair with fan is tomomasa aka general tachibana aka callous flirt. next is random shot of vice minister for civil affairs, fujiwara no takamichi. aka green hair with glasses. green hair bun is abe no yasuaki… who is kinda like nataku. red hair = inori, which is another random shot.

fujihime aka purple hair explains what the first ep left out. orange hair jealous brat = tenma. who is highly annoying. blondie radiating cuteness^TM is shimon. and masked guy in the 2nd pic is evil but pretty blondie who’s really called akuram. can’t really see his pretty-ness or blondeness cos of the mask & cone hat though. nothing much happens here either. apart from akane fainting from spiritual fever and akuram & yasuaki fighting in the spiritual world. they left out the stuff about the miko’s tears from the manga which would have made yasuaki’s angsting under the sakura tree clearer.

purple haired pretty boy is eisen the monk who’s also the emperor’s younger brother. blondie in the 3rd last pic is actually akuram sans mask after the ryuujin’s power destroyed it. kirei na~~~ it’s not really his fault ne~ it’s the duty of the baddie to attempt to destroy everything & everyone every ep wherein the miko’s protectors aka the 八葉 have to step in and get their asses kicked so the miko can use the ryuujin’s powers to save the day.

tomomasa & yasuaki still haven’t spoken a word to each other yet. tomomasa does say something that mentions he’s heard but never seen yasuaki. guess he never expected a pretty boy onmyouji/monk. although considering yasuaki only really appeared this ep it’s not so bad ne~

first line is tomomasa lightly taunting carrot top who loses his temper. fujihime has to step in to prevent (a rather one-sided ) fight. doubt tomomasa actually cares about anything. yasuaki possesses a rat in order to speak with akane. cute chibi squees & pinches cheeks * is actually a vengeful spirit. who is chibi cos yasuaki sealed up his evil powers.

at the end of the ep, tomomasa asks takamichi for a drink together. (wherein the fangirl goes into overload ne~ ) but they are complimentary ne~ cos one is a general (warrior… although he just stands around all the time… or flirts so one wonders how he managed to become a general in the first place ) & the other is a scholar nya~ and they’re much easier to slash together than tomomasa & yasuaki

first pic is what takamichi’s subordinates think of tomomasa. this ep is mostly takamichi (and tomomasa ) tomomasa teases/taunts takamichi about the rumours of him falling for a dancer and his general lack of skill with ladies. then they run off to save the miko. bleeeeeh.

chibi!yorihisa & his friendship with the nue. who was his first friend. due no doubt to his lack of social skills.

more chibi yo~~~ it’s called a kotengu. kyaaa~~~ it’s sooooo cuuuuute ne~ *pinches cheeks* and inori aka red hair is cute too~ in a bratty younger brother way. there’s also tomomasa x yasuaki ♥ dialogue. the dialogue is boringly straight but the pictures are good for inventing dialogue na~~~

they’d be cute together nya~ cos yasuaki is sooo serious whereas tomomasa likes to tease people. prolly hence the hair pulling fanart ne~

watched kinki kids’ wedding… which was their taiwan concert ne~ unnya~ is it the same taiwan concert that tomapi etc backdanced for? anyway, it’s highly crack but tsuyo refused to kiss the *cough* bride at the end, claiming he’s straight. but why is ko-chan the bride?! ero-zachou is seme ne? but he makes a pretty bride. prettier than tsuyo at least.

the fans really screamed very loud.
